Quaternary Rivers and Glaciers in Midland and Eastern England – conflicting views and observable evidence.
Changes in the landscape occurred during the Anglian Glaciation due to erosion and sedimentation. River terraces hold some evidence of glacial presence and tell a story of rivers which have been eliminated and of the Thames being diverted southwards.
Jim Rose holds the Murchison Award and the Victoria Medal of the Royal Geographical Society and the Coke Medal of the Geological Society of London. He is a Scientific Advisor to Natural England. His research interests cover a wide range of Quaternary science including climate and environmental change through the Last interglacial/ Last glacial in Europe, environmental change and Human occupance of Britain.

Humphrey Knight CRU Group CRU provides insight, data and analysis for global mining, metal, and fertilizer commodities. Humphrey Knight is the Senior Analyst for Potash. He has previously worked as a geologist at a major lead-zinc mine in the Republic of Ireland and at a gold exploration project in Mexico.
